Alfa Romeo Tipo 33.2 by Pinninfarina 1969

In 1969 Alfa Romeo gave Pininfarina, Bertone and Italdesign separate Tipo 33 chassis to create new bodywork. This particular example, chassis 115 designed by Leonardo Fioravanti,  resembles the Ferrari P5 show car Pininfarina designed a year earlier. Both share gullwing doors and similar air ducting.

The car was powered by a mid-mounted 2 litre V8 engine producing 245 PS (180 kW; 242 hp) at 8800 rpm, and is based on the road going 33 Stradale. Top speed of the car is around 250 km/h (160 mph).
There were two more 33 based concepts: Giugiaro's Iguana and Bertone's Carabo.
